National Voter Registration Day is a nonpartisan civic holiday celebrating our democracy. First observed in 2012, it has quickly gained momentum ever since. Nearly 4.5 million voters have registered to vote on the holiday to date.

National Suicide Prevention Week takes place during the 2nd week of September, and includes World Suicide Prevention Day, which is on September 10th every year. Throughout National Suicide Prevention Week, people share resources, information and stories to increase awareness about suicide prevention and the warning signs.
Mentorships are an invaluable part of career development. Recently, research from Washington University in St. Louis found that even virtual mentorships for STEM undergraduates provided both mentors and mentees a meaningful and productive experience; not only did the mentees learn transferable skills during this time, but the experience promoted feelings of interpersonal connection and a sense of structure as well.
The job climate is more unstable than it has been in decades.
