Opportunities for college women
IGNITE creates communities on college campuses across America to help young women find their voice and flex their political power.
IGNITE College Chapters
College women organize chapters on their campuses to build political and civic participation among their peers. Chapters organize activities like voter registration drives, policy workshops, and meetings with elected women and candidates. IGNITE provides regular virtual and in-person training to support individual college chapters.
Women in Student Government College Council
The Women in Student Government College Council is the only national gathering of women serving in student government. During this powerful networking event, you'll learn from women in policy who are serving, or have served, in student government roles. You'll also get time to meet other women in college student government, and connect over your shared experiences and aspirations.
Other IGNITE Programming
IGNITE hosts programming open to college students through the year. Participants can take part in training to discuss relevant policy issues, learn from dynamic elected officials, develop political leadership skills, and build a network to support their ambitions. Visit our calendar for a list of upcoming council meetings across the country.
