Meet Jay Fraser, IGNITE's 24-25 DMV Fellow!
Jay is currently a junior at Howard University, majoring in Elementary Education with a minor in History. Passionate about educational equity, Jay has previously interned with the City Teaching Alliance, volunteered with the Jumpstart program, and done community outreach under the Howard University Alternative Spring Break program. She plans to become a teacher and advocate for more equitable access to quality education for disenfranchised communities. Jay would ultimately like to become the Secretary of Education and rebuild the perception and execution of educational services for youth.
