Saha Salahi
Programs Manager
Saha is the Programs Manager at IGNITE National, where she plays a pivotal role in improving program quality, developing new trainings, and leading advocacy-related strategies. Saha also supports the Dr. Anne Moses Fellowship, which develops young advocates to build a sustainability strategy to enhance the organization’s impact.
Previously, Saha served as the Las Vegas IGNITE Fellow for two years, during which she organized community-empowering trainings and worked with local elected officials to promote accessibility between students and the state legislature. In recognition of her efforts, Nevada Secretary of State Barbara Cegavske honored Saha as Nevada’s first recipient of the John Lewis Youth Leadership Award, established in 2020 to commemorate the late congressman’s public service and civil rights achievements.
In addition to her work at IGNITE, Saha also served as the Legislative Intern for the Senate Majority office at the Nevada State Legislature, Congressional District 4 Coordinator with the Nevada Center for Civic Engagement, Student Researcher at Brookings Mountain West and the Lincy Institute, and District Intern at Congressman Steven Horsford’s office.
Saha obtained her bachelor’s degree from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. As the daughter of Afghan-American parents, Saha is committed to advancing equitable reform at the local, state, and federal levels.
