Throughout the series, you'll define your call to running for elected office, target your seat, build community with others in your cohort and begin to learn the tools needed for a successful campaign.

Next, you'll learn about the basics of getting on the ballot, the importance of getting to know your community/their needs and getting endorsements. You’ll also learn the main financial responsibilities of running for office.

You'll also focus on one of the most important parts of your campaign: fundraising. We will lay the foundation for campaign fundraising, share strategies and dispel fundraising myths. We'll also go through what makes a candidate stand out. Sometimes, it’s where they stand on certain issues that gets voters to pay attention, but it's also how they present their platform. You’ll dive into how to draw in potential voters via your public speaking, digital and social media messaging.

At the end of the series, you'll be ready to LAUNCH YOUR CAMPAIGN! We'll review the foundation that has been laid for running a successful campaign, an overview of a campaign timeline, self-care tips and a reminder that “You Got This”!
