Abortion Access & the Courts
An IGNITE Virtual Event
Join IGNITE for a conversation about the legal landscape surrounding abortion access in a post-Roe era. We’ll be joined by Rutgers University Law School Professor Emeritus Robert F. Williams, Esq, and renowned Labor Attorney Alaine S. Williams.
Event Information
In the year after the U.S. Supreme Court ruled to overturn the long-standing legal protection for abortion access provided by Roe v. Wade, we have continued to see the erosion of reproductive rights disproportionately targeting people of color, the LGBTQ community and those with limited economic resources. The debate around access to the abortion pill and the rising tensions among states at odds on the issue have shown the complexity of our federal and state legal systems. To help our community better understand our current legal landscape around abortion access and the power of individual states, we invite our IGNITE community to join us in conversation with Rutgers University Law School Professor Emeritus Robert F. Williams, Esq, and renowned Labor Attorney Alaine S. Williams.
