Join IGNITE for a dynamic series of monthly trainings designed to help you turn civic passion into voter action. Whether you’re an IGNITE the Vote Ambassador or a member of our broader IGNITE community, these sessions will give you the skills, tools, and confidence to lead voter engagement efforts on your campus and in your community.

Each session is one hour long, highly interactive, and action-focused, so you can immediately apply what you learn.

Training Schedule

All workshops will take place from 3:00 pm- 4:00 PM PT/ 6:00 - 7:00 PM ET via Zoom.

Mobilizing for Impact: Week of Activation Kickoff
Start the year strong by joining our Week of Activation launch session! Learn how to plan and lead local voter engagement events that inspire new voters to take action. Join this training to reserve your space for IGNITE’s Week of Activation (Feb 9 - 12).

February 4
Running a Successful Voter Registration Drive
This session walks you through everything you need to host an energetic, effective local voter registration drive.

March 4
Democracy Decoded: Understanding Your Ballot
Get ready to vote with confidence! We’ll unpack the races, propositions, and ballot measures you’ll encounter and explore how to help others do the same. Attendees will get all of the tools needed to host a What’s On Your Ballot workshop in their community as well as training for how to share nonpartisan voter information.

Digital Organizing 101: Social Media Strategies for Civic Action
Learn how to use your favorite social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram, to spark conversations, share voter info, and mobilize your digital community.

Neighbors to Voters: Organizing from the Ground Up

What is IGNITE?

IGNITE is a national movement of young cis and trans women, nonbinary and gender expansive people, ready and eager to become the next generation of civic and political leaders. Since our inception in 2010, IGNITE has become the largest, most diverse political leadership organization in America mobilizing Gen Z women with sustained community-based training and support to unleash their civic and political power. We train our participants to make a long-lasting impact on their communities.

is the IGNITE the Vote Summit affiliated with a political party? 

As a nonpartisan nonprofit organization, IGNITE will be structuring the Summit to operate independent of party affiliation. All activities, workshops, and content will be tailored to support attendees from a nonpartisan lens at they discover the tools and skills  they need to mobilize their communities to vote.
