IGNITE the Vote Summer Leadership Academy
The IGNITE the Vote Summer Leadership Academy is a 6-week online leadership program that trains high school students to run voter registration drives in their communities ahead of the fall election season. You'll learn how elections work, how to register voters in your state, how to organize your community, and how to build campaigns that make an impact.
As an academy participant, you will:
- Complete six weeks of self-paced video lessons and hands-on activities through an online learning platform
- Build a full voter registration drive action plan ready to launch in September
- Connect with a national network of IGNITE youth leaders and partner organizations
- Earn a certificate of completion and gain skills you can highlight on college applications and your resume
- Have the opportunity to start or join an IGNITE High School Chapter and continue this work at your school
This program is open to current or incoming high school students residing in the United States.
No experience necessary. We're looking for students who are curious, motivated, and ready to show up for their community. We've got the training covered.
