It's never too early to become a political leader!
IGNITE's High School Programs are designed to empower young women by providing them with the tools and knowledge to become politically aware, civically engaged and define their call to action. Our high school program includes three delivery models: High School Chapters, Clubs and a National High School Council series.
IGNITE High School CHAPTERS
IGNITE High School Chapters are student-led programs at a school site. These clubs are specifically geared toward empowering young women who are passionate about enhancing their leadership, activism, and public service skills. High School Clubs will have access to the IGNITE High School Club Toolkit, a comprehensive guide designed to assist in establishing an IGNITE High School Club for students in grades 9-12.
High School programming is designed to:
- Increase young women's political and civic engagement and leadership on high school campuses nationwide.
- Provide high school students with a network of like-minded, ambitious women leaders.
- Help young women position themselves for actual bids for candidacy.
- Build the next generation of women political leaders.

Bring Ignite to your campus
Our Toolkit offers a step-by-step process that schools or community-based organizations can follow to create their own club, complete with member recruitment, defining club roles, and launching the first project or activity. The Toolkit also helps club participants develop various skillsets that they can utilize in future roles related to Civic and Political Leadership at the local, state and national levels.
All high school chapters are required to enroll their chapter every year with IGNITE to stay in good standing.
