National Deputy Program Director: IGNITE is seeking an experienced leader to assist in leading our national programmatic strategy and growth across the country. The National Deputy Program Director is responsible for maintaining the IGNITE brand, establishing essential relationships, overseeing programs, managing program staff, and tracking progress to ensure programmatic success. The Deputy provides leadership, supervision, oversight and management of IGNITE’s programs and services directly or through a Program Director, Manager, Coordinator or Fellow. Director of Major Giving, West Coast: IGNITE is seeking a seasoned development professional to help build its fundraising program, with an emphasis on major gifts. This position will be primarily focused on developing support in the west coast region, with a focus on Southern California, the Bay Area, and Seattle, WA. The Director of Major Giving, West will be responsible for securing funds for the organization by identifying, cultivating, and soliciting a growing portfolio of major donors and institutional funders who are passionate about IGNITE’s mission. Policy Coordinator: The Policy Coordinator will support IGNITE’s policy and legislative efforts on Capitol Hill and in state capitols. The Coordinator
will also work closely with the programs team, college chapters, and/or community councils to collaborate on policy advocacy in states and related to localized and community programming. Finally, the Coordinator will help to maintain political and external relationships related to the mission of IGNITE, and may be asked to represent the organization in external-facing opportunities. The IGNITE internship program is designed for high school and college students, including those in graduate and law school programs. Participants gain valuable professional experience while building the tools, self-confidence and leadership skills that can be readily applied to future professional challenges and pursuits. At IGNITE interns are carefully prepared to bridge the gap between the academic and professional world.
