Kelly Goss

Kelly Goss serves as Chief Development Officer for IGNITE, where she leads the organization's national fundraising strategy, philanthropic partnerships, and revenue growth to expand opportunities for young women to become civic and political leaders.
With more than 30 years of nonprofit leadership experience, Kelly is an accomplished fundraising executive, organizational strategist, coalition builder, and national thought leader. Throughout her career, she has helped mission-driven organizations strengthen revenue, governance, communications, and long-term sustainability while guiding organizations through periods of growth and transformation. She has built advancement programs from the ground up, led national coalitions and cross-sector partnerships, and represented organizations at more than 75 conferences and leadership convenings on fundraising, organizational sustainability, governance, and collaborative leadership. Kelly is passionate about developing leaders, building strong organizational cultures, and helping nonprofits create lasting impact through authentic relationships and strategic philanthropy. For Kelly, the greatest measure of success isn't the dollars raised; it is the leaders developed, the communities strengthened, and the lives changed because people chose to believe in a shared mission.
Kelly earned a Bachelor of Science from Appalachian State University and a certificate in Nonprofit Management from Duke University, reflecting her lifelong commitment to leadership and organizational excellence. She lives in Wilmington, North Carolina, where she enjoys hiking, reading, and finding the coolest vintage items as well as spending time with her partner, William, their 5 kids, and their rescue dog, Happy.
