Yesenia Baldivia-Zarate is the IGNITE Detroit Fellow. She is a movement politics organizer with Michigan United and Michigan People's Campaign. Yesenia is also a DACA recipient and originally from México. Through her work, she has helped to make a historic shift in the power of the Michigan State legislator by getting citizens out to vote, as well as help protect reproductive rights, voting rights and advocating for more transparency in government.
