Jeneisha Harris

Jeneisha Harris serves as IGNITE's Tennessee Fellow. Jeneisha is also President of The National Black Action Committee, Organizer of The Free Breakfast Program, and Founder of the Barbara J. Harris Scholarship. Learn more about Jeneisha's work in our 19-20 annual report here.
Mary Black
“As an IGNITE Fellow, I worked with young women who care about the environment to turn their interests into political action. The green field is overwhelmingly dominated by men. I believe we need more women to lead us into a greener future.”
Mary Black served as our Raleigh Fellow. She is also the youngest appointed member of the Raleigh Environmental Advisory Board. Learn more about Mary here.
Chelsea Miller
“Leadership isn't about what you will do in times of comfort, but how you will step out in times of uncertainty.”
Chelsea Miller is an organizer and the co-founder of Freedom March NYC, which is a grassroots organization that was created in 2020 to advocate for policy reform. Learn more about Chelsea's work here.
Winter BreeAnne

Winter BreeAnne is a youth advocate and organizer. She founded Black Is Lit at the age of 15. Black Is Lit is "devoted to creating space for marginalized youth." During 2020, she worked with first-time voters to help them feel prepared to cast a ballot. Check out BreeAnne's work here.
