Meet Shaylyn Becton, IGNITE's 24-25 California Fellow!
Shaylyn graduated from the University of San Diego with a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations, and is currently a graduate student at UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs. She is a Fellow at the Alliance for Citizen Engagement , and currently working to publish research on how international infrastructure development policy in Asia impacts local Southeast Asian populations. Shaylyn is passionate about climate protection and environmental safety for underrepresented communities and hopes to develop data visualizations that compliment policy research targeting the creation of equitable access to economic and urban resources.
