Meet Kelsei Scott, IGNITE's 24-25 Chicago Fellow!
Kelsei recently graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and Media Studies from Jackson State University. She will be continuing her education with a graduate program at Northwestern University this fall. Before her time at JSU, Kelsei served as a law intern at Southern University A&M University. During her undergraduate years she volunteered with period equity-focused nonprofit organizations like 601 and The P.U.P.A. (Providing Unlimited Period Aid) Project. She is passionate about inspiring more young people to learn about social and cultural issues, and wants to be the person who encourages others to join in and use their power and voice for change.
